Lego, Lego and more Lego

The Simpsons recently had a couch gag in Lego. It's not as, err... I'm not sure what the word I'm looking for is... animated as I would've liked it.

This is Halo 2's Zanzibar map (Halo 3's Last Resort) made completely out of Lego. It's an amazing bit of dedicated construction work. What's most impressive to me is the fact that he managed to get so many unusually coloured bricks to finish the piece. It was featured in the bonus disk that came in the Legendary Edition Halo 3. Here it is:

Here's an awesome stop motion video of the construction of the old Millenium Falcon lego set. The only that stops this video from being perfect is the music. And the end. And the amount of wasted time. Yeah, on second thoughts the whole thing pretty much sucked. Watch it now!

I say old Millenium Falcon because Lego have just released the Ultimate Collector's Edition Millenium Falcon. It's the biggest Lego set ever made with 5,195 pieces all for the low, low price of €549.99! For some reason, it's limited to 5 per customer which is a disgrace. Hopefully, Santa will be good to me and bring 6 anyways. Watch a time lapse of the construction of this beast on Gizmodo.
